On July 1, 2021, Dr. Kayse Shrum became the first female president of Oklahoma State University.  Prior to this groundbreaking achievement, Dr. Shrum served as President of OSU Center of Health Sciences, was a practicing pediatrician, and an accomplished athlete. She is also a mother of six children.
